"He is exceptionally intelligent and deeply committed to the craft of acting. What sets him apart in my mind, however, is his personal commitment to each student who comes under his care. He understands that it is his responsibility not only to guide them as a group, but to assist them in their individual journeys.... Actors flourish under his care, in part because Charles not only gains their trust, he nourishes their trust in themselves." J. Michael Miller, President
Alliance for the Development of Theater Artists The Actors Center "Charles has an artistic eye and taste which I trust implicitly...study with him!"
Laura Linney, actress
Academy Award Nominee for You Can Count On Me and seen in Truman Show, Mystic River, Love Actually and Kinsey among others. "Charles is a unique teacher. He is always clear, direct, and inspirational. Students know
when they work with Charles they will be challenged to do the best work they possibly can.
He expects students to be disciplined, prepared, and professional."
Mary McCann, Director Atlantic Theater Company Acting School "Charles creates a nurturing environment in which any actor could flourish. I continue
to work with him whenever I can because I know, inevitably, my auditions will be better."
Lauren Ward, actress
